Hallelujah!!!!

We received our NOC (No Objection Certificate) approval last week. We were told that it looked like we would travel in 4-5 months. Katie (our case worker) said it does take longer in Delhi for guardianship papers to be issued but they have a new judge and she seems to be processing things quicker. I am praying for the first part of December, it would be the best Christmas gift ever!

I just love her to pieces and can't wait to hold her in my arms.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praises to God! I am so happy for you! A Christmas baby would be wonderful! I wish I lived closer too - we could go celebrate. I would love to go with you and your friend to see the show.

Congrats again!

First let me say that I am so thrilled that you are going to be on your way to your little girl after such a long wait. Thanks for your sweet post. I really have fallen in love with photography...it is something I have wanted to do since high school. I have a Pentax *ist DS digital SLR camera and about 4 different lens I use...I am really happy with it.

YEAH!!! Your daughter is just precious!

I wondered where you lived. I'd heard you lived near P-town - I actually remember hearing/reading about your change way back when.

We'd love to meet you - I'm thinking we need to have an Ethiopia/CHI reunion! There are a few families in the area that have recently adopted/thinking of adopting.

What area do you live in?

Thanks for the comment on my blog :) I'm glad you liked the pic of me riding an elephant - it was my favorite thing I did in Bangkok when I visited my parents!

By the way, I have a sister that lives in India! I didn't even know that there were agencies that had India as an option for adoption. Your little girl is pretty precious. I pray that she gets to come home by Christmas too!

Cheryl, I just changed my layout and the colors of all the words only to find out that it's the same one you have! Dang! I'll change it later. I'm too tired now...
